Branded Raw Materials - The Advantages of Jorinde Formulations

Quality Standard · Jorinde

Why we rely on branded raw materials

Jorinde products use branded raw materials because they have many advantages over common ingredients, for example:

  • Defined active ingredient concentration:
Branded raw materials are standardized to a specific content of the active ingredient and are tested in batches.
  • Clinical validation:
Most branded raw materials have been tested in independent human studies – with the exact raw material that ends up in the product.
  • Therapeutic efficacy:
The clinical studies show from which dosage the raw material demonstrably unfolds its effect.
  • Traceability:
Origin, cultivation and processing are documented and verifiable.
  • Consistent quality:
Every batch is checked by the manufacturer of the branded raw material – and again by us upon receipt.
  • No hidden impurities:
Branded raw materials can guarantee their purity standards through extensive and detailed analyses.

As a user, you benefit immensely from this: with branded raw materials, you have a product in your hands whose safety, quality and efficiency you can count on.

At a glance

Six reasons that make the difference

01

Clinically proven efficacy

Branded raw materials are examined in their own studies and analyses. The data is published and verifiable - no unfounded advertising promises.

02

Defined bioavailability

Specific manufacturing processes - microencapsulation, active ingredient release or bioabsorption - measurably improve absorption and utilization in the body or make it possible in the first place.

03

Standardized active ingredient content

Each batch is adjusted to an exact content. The concentration is the same from delivery to delivery - no unexpected fluctuations.

04

Seamless traceability

Origin, processing steps and test results are fully documented. This is the basis of any serious quality control.

05

Purity and safety

Independent laboratories test for impurities (heavy metals, pesticides, microbiology and others). No deviation from specified limit values, but guaranteed purity.

06

EU-compliant labeling

Study-based information enables clear, legally compliant communication - including the Health Claims Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006.

In detail

What distinguishes each point

Point 01

Clinical studies as a basis

Branded raw material manufacturers conduct their own clinical studies and analyses - not infrequently double-blind studies with placebo control. The results are published in scientific journals (e.g. Nutrients, Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition). This means: The effect is verifiable, not extrapolated from cell experiments.

Point 02

Bioavailability is measurable

Inexpensive or common raw materials can sometimes be difficult for the body to absorb. Branded raw materials are designed for maximum absorption through complex processes or technologies: through chelation, microencapsulation, specific salt forms or lipid-based carrier systems. The bioavailability of some branded raw materials is therefore proven in so-called pharmacokinetic studies (science that deals with the speed and extent of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of active ingredients in the body). The bottom line is that the active ingredients in the preparation are not only present, but also actually usable by the body.

Point 03

Batch consistency

The clinically effective dosage of a raw material is only reproducible if each batch has the same composition. Branded raw material manufacturers define specifications and check each batch by certificate. The nominal content corresponds to the actual content - within narrow tolerances. In this way, important quality characteristics, especially the concentration of active components, can be guaranteed.

Point 04-05

Traceability and purity

Every component of a branded raw material is traceable from the source to the filling. Independent third-party laboratories (often ISO 17025 accredited) test for heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury, for pesticide residues, mycotoxins and microbial contamination. These data are available as test reports.

Point 06

Legally compliant communication

Only approved health claims according to EU Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 may be used for food supplements. Branded raw materials come with a clear study basis that allows product statements to be formulated precisely and compliantly - be it as an approved statement, as a supporting statement with source reference, or as a reference to traditional use.

Comparison

Branded raw material vs. Standard raw material

The following table summarizes the key differences between the two raw material classes.

Criterion Branded Raw Material Standard Raw Material
Clinical Studies ✓ Own human studies, peer-reviewed published ✗ Generally no product-specific studies
Bioavailability ✓ Optimized and pharmacokinetically documented ✗ Unknown or estimated from general literature
Active Ingredient Content ✓ Standardized, tight tolerances, CoA included ✗ Fluctuating, often without batch analysis
Traceability ✓ End-to-end from origin to bottling ✗ Often incomplete or not verifiable
Purity testing ✓ Independent third-party laboratories, ISO-accredited ✗ Manufacturer's specifications without external testing
Heavy metals / Pesticides ✓ ICP-MS analysis and pesticide screening documented ✗ No or only random controls
GMP production ✓ Certified production facilities (EU/US GMP) ✗ Standard varies greatly depending on country of origin
Patent protection ✓ Patented processes, defined specification ✗ No intellectual property rights, no quality standard specified
Health Claim Compliance ✓ Claims verifiable based on studies and EU-compliant ✗ Limitations on study-backed claims
Transparency ✓ Brand name, studies and specifications can be communicated ✗ Little communicable added value

Note: "Standard raw material" refers to unprotected forms of active ingredients without manufacturer ties and without product-specific study data. The quality may be better in individual cases than presented here - without transparency obligation, however, it cannot be proven. With branded raw materials, however, proof is always given, which is the advantage.

The goal is therefore to offer you transparent and traceable quality for preparations you can rely on for your health.
